Wow! I’ll never forget the sight of QM2 departing Fremantle for the first time. The ship is huge and it towers over everything in the port. This photo was taken on the North Mole at the entry of the Swan River and Fremantle Port. It’s my favourite vantage spot at this port to see ships arrive and depart as you’re standing at sea level giving an amazing perspective of the size and scale of these amazing pieces of engineering. She’s back in Australian waters on Sunday.
