In my opinion, QE2 had the most epic funnel of them all. Originally designed in the 1960s it was completely rebuilt as a bigger version in 1986/87 (pictured) to accommodate the ship’s new Diesel engines. QE2’s new funnel was the tallest point on the ship, even eclipsing the mast in terms of height. It towered over 62 metres above the keel. What’s your favourite passenger ship funnel and why?
